How did you arrive at Northwest Christian?
By car. Actually, I believe the Lord brought me here. From the second I walked in the door, I knew this is where I needed to be.
What’s the most surprising thing about being here at Northwest Christian?
The teachers are all very personal and eager to be of help to us.
What is your favorite thing about the students, faculty, and staff at Northwest Christian?
It truly is a community. Every day I meet new people who just love to share their lives with me.
Favorite Class to attend/teach:
Diversity in the Classroom. Johnny Lake is an excellent teacher as well as friend. If you haven’t met him, you need to. All of my teachers are great, so I would have to say I like them all.
Favorite thing about Northwest Christian:
Being comfortable sharing my faith in and around campus.
Favorite Northwest Christian Event/Tradition:
I love going to the sporting events. So far, watching the volleyball team has been a blast. Digs and Kills are cool!
Advice for incoming students:
God has you here for a reason. Take it seriously. Do everything as unto the Lord. You don’t have to look at the whole picture. That is liable to burn you out. Just take it one step at a time. If you get in trouble, find me! I’d love to encourage you and pray for you.
Greatest accomplishment in life so far:
Being a father, a husband, and following the Lord’s lead. That’s why I am here!
