Steve Andersen, D.H.A.

Associate Professor, Business and Management

Professor Andersen began teaching at NCU in January of 2007. His research activities include National Institute of Health-funded research on health disparities, emergency medical services, and traditional medicine usage among the Plains Indian tribes. Prior to teaching, he was an executive for over 17 years with two national health care systems.

 

Dr. Andersen has served on several regional and national boards of directors, and lectured on governance for nonprofit organizations. His work experience also includes serving as a strategic planning consultant for several for-profit and nonprofit businesses.

 

He teaches in the undergraduate and graduate business programs at NCU, and in the PSP health care administration program. Courses typically taught include strategic management, principles of management and leadership, international business, finance, and a number of health care administration courses.
