I am delighted to be a member of the School of Education and School Counseling at NCU. As an instructor in Education with extensive public teaching experience in the US and Canada, I am particularly interested in curriculum design and student assessment. In the School Counseling graduate program, I have a passion for sharing techniques and strategies effective with the At-Risk student particularly as they transition from one level of education to another. I am a trained crisis response team member for an International response team that has provided immediate response to violent acts in schools. I have been fortunate to deliver workshops for teachers and parents in trauma response, crisis response, post traumatic stress syndrome and additional training for new crisis response individuals.
I love outdoor activities such as biking, walking, gardening, camping and swimming. My family and I love to have time together in Canada where we enjoy outdoor activities and barbequing.
