Terrie Porter, Ph.D.

Assistant Professor, School Counseling

Dr. Porter is a national certified counselor and licensed professional counselor with experience in both elementary and secondary school counseling. She is an active member of the American Counseling Association, the Association of Counselor Education and Supervision, the American School Counseling Association, and Chi Sigma Iota. Her exerience includes career counseling, individual and group counseling, and counseling in school settings. Her research areas include adolescent suicide prevention, school counselor training, ethical and legal issues in counseling, supervision, and play therapy.
