CANDLELIGHT CAROLS CONCERT

EUGENE, OR. – November 10, 2006-Northwest Christian College-

Northwest Christian College (NCC) will host its annual Christmas concert “Candlelight Carols” directed by Melissa Stock and narrated by Ed Ragozzino. The NCC Community Choir, Dickens Carolers, Stock Brothers, Chamber Ensemble, and VIRTUE will perform traditional and contemporary music. The event takes place December 1, 2006, at 7:30 p.m. at the First Christian Church. Admission is free to the public.

On Tuesday November 28 at 7:00 p.m., a dress rehearsal will be open to reporters and media.

Melissa Stock, Director of VIRTUE is an adjunct professor of music and is in her fourth year of teaching at NCC. Prior to coming to NCC, Stock was the Director of instrumental worship for the Crystal Cathedral in Southern California. She also worked as a freelance orchestrator, arranger, accompanist and worship consultant.

Retired, Ragozzino has a long and distinguished career as an educator, administrator, and theater director. He served as Performing Arts Department Head at Lane Community College.

Ragozzino was the Executive Director of the Eugene Festival of Musical Theater, from 1986 to 1995.
