| Tim Berry to speak to Northwest Christian College Entrepreneurship Class |
| Release Date: May 9th, 2006 Event Date: May 22, 2006 |
|
On Monday, May 22, 2006, Tim Berry will speak to an entrepreneurship class at Northwest Christian College. Berry is president and owner of Palo Alto Software of Eugene, Oregon. The author of three books and two software programs, Berry holds a MBA from Stanford. Berry became the president of Palo Alto Software in 1988. He received his master’s degree in journalism from the University of Oregon. Journalism taught Berry that if the reader cannot understand what is written, it is the writer who is at fault. With this in mind, the product manuals for Palo Alto’s software are straightforward, clear, and simple. Berry often writes important pieces of the manuals. Berry has worked as a consultant for Apple Computing Latin America and is currently an adjunct professor at Lundquist School of Business at the University of Oregon. Monday’s class is part of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at NCC. |
