NORTHWEST CHRISTIAN COLLEGE CELEBRATES HOMECOMING WEEKEND, GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY FOR CLASS OF 1958
Eugene, Ore.--- Northwest Christian College (NCC) will celebrate Homecoming Reunion Weekend and the 50th anniversary of the Class of 1958 with a variety of festivities Friday, Feb. 15, through Sunday, Feb. 17.
Friday activities include alumni check-in, several lectures which alumni are invited to attend, homecoming chapel, homecoming luncheon and a tour of the NCC campus. Friday’s festivities will conclude with homecoming basketball games against the Southern Oregon University Raiders. The women compete at 5:30 p.m. and the men at 7:30 p.m. The games will be held at the Morse Event Center, 1075 Alder St., Eugene.
Saturday events include a hike at Skinner’s Butte; class receptions, including special celebrations for the Classes of 1977, 1978, 1979, 1997, 1998 and 1999; and the alumni gala featuring entertainment from NCC’s student singing ensemble, VIRTUE, the State of the College address delivered by President David Wilson, and the Golden Society induction for the class of 1958. Class receptions and the award gala will be held in the McKenzie Ballroom at Valley River Inn, 1000 Valley River Way, Eugene. Tickets are $40.
On Sunday, NCC alumni are invited to visit one of the local churches where NCC alumni serve as pastors.
