Trustee Lecture Series Continues with Oregon State Senator Frank Morse

Eugene, Ore.--- Northwest Christian College will continue its 2008 Trustee Lecture Series on Leadership and Ethics with Oregon State Senator Frank Morse speaking on "Ethics, Leadership and Politics" on Tuesday, March 11, at 4 p.m. in the B. Ross Evans Chapel, located at the southwest corner of East 11th Avenue and Kincaid Street in Eugene.

Morse, a graduate of Northwest Christian College, and former chair of the NCC Board of Trustees, is serving his second term as senator in the Oregon State Senate.  His personal theme of building strong communities has been reflected in his service to the Albany Boys and Girls Club, Samaritan Albany General Hospital Board, and Albany Chamber of Commerce among many others.

David Wilson, Northwest Christian president, noted that “We are very fortunate to have Frank Morse as a speaker in this lecture series.  It is difficult to think of anyone who embodies ethical leadership any better than Frank Morse.  We are proud to call him one of our own.”

The Trustee Lecture Series on Leadership and Ethics was approved by the Northwest Christian College Board of Trustees during the 2004-05 academic year.  The lecture series provides an opportunity to show the importance of leadership and ethics as elements in Northwest Christian's current vision, mission, and values statements.
