The Leadership Summer is a one day seminar for students that are interested in honing their leadership skills. The event begins with a keynote address from a leadership expert who serves to motivate and inspire students to reach their leadership potential.
At the Leadership Summit, students participate in a variety of leadership sessions ranging from how to be a leader within their individual groups, how to be a leader in the world today, and how to integrate faith in a leadership position. The day provides the opportunity for current student leaders to improve upon their skill and future student leaders to discover the leader within.
This year's theme, The BIG Picture, strives to help students look to the plans God has for their future, while engaging in leadership opportunities now during their college career. Our Leadership Summit Keynote Speaker is Brenda Coomer, former Women's Chaplain at Oral Roberts University. She is the founder and President of Brenda Joy Ministries. She is an inspirational and dynamic speaker who imparts a message of purpose and passion for life. Her style is fun, energetic and impacting. Brenda's mission is to mobilize leaders by helping them identify their leadership abilities and become intentional about being an influencer in their world.
