CONNECTICUT’S PROGRAM FOR FREE COMMUNITY COLLEGE 

 

**The continuation of this program is dependent on the determination of funding from the state legislature**

It is open to all Connecticut residents, who meet the following criteria:

  • Have graduated or will graduate from a Connecticut High School*
  • Attending college for the first time**
  • Complete the FAFSA process (including verification) and accept all financial aid awards before priority deadline
  • Register for 6 or more credits
  • Register for classes by July 15th for the Fall semester (for priority access to funding) or November 15th for the Spring semester (to be considered if funding is available after continuing students are awarded)
  • Once enrolled, remain in good academic standing

How do I apply?

In order to be registered for classes by the PACT deadline, it is recommended that prospective students complete an application to the college and the FAFSA process BEFORE July to attend in the Fall, or BEFORE November to attend in the Spring. See the steps below:
