Earn a Bachelor’s Degree Affordably
In this era of ever-increasing higher education costs, Connecticut’s 12 community colleges, four state universities and Charter Oak State College have partnered to offer a low-cost pathway to a bachelor’s degree.

  1. Start at one of Connecticut’s 12 community colleges
  2. Choose a Transfer Ticket career pathway and complete an associate degree
  3. Transfer to Central, Eastern, Southern, Western or Charter Oak and earn a bachelor’s degree

No Loss of Credit
Students pursuing a Transfer Ticket associate degree will be paired with an academic advisor at each institution and know exactly which courses to take. The degrees can be attained without incurring extra expense or requiring extra credits.

After completing a Transfer Ticket associate degree, students can transfer to any Connecticut state university – as a junior – confident that they have only half of the degree requirements remaining in their major.
