Winsted – The Entrepreneurial Center of Northwest Connecticut located at Northwestern Connecticut Community College is offering the two-day seminar “Maximizing Your Online Business Presence” on November 17 and 19, 6 to 7:30 p.m. through an online virtual environment. The seminar is sponsored by the Northwest Connecticut Economic Development Corporation with funding provided through the Economic Development Administration’s CARES Act disaster recovery funds.
The event is free and open to the public although registration is required at Eventbrite.
As today’s businesses ask how they can reach customers in a challenging and ever-changing marketplace, new ways to market products and services is a necessity for all entrepreneurs. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and ensuring that a site is at the top of the search engine results page (SERP) will be covered, as well as how to effectively use social media and tools such as Pinterest to engage customers and keep them coming back.
