2020 Graduates Celebration Video – CONGRATULATIONS GRADUATES!

Since we will not be able to help our students celebrate at Commencement, the College has produced a video celebration above.  This will also be shown on our facebook page on Thursday, May 28th at 6:30 pm, when our ceremony would have been held.

Thank you to the many graduates, faculty and staff who submitted their photos and video clips.

Speakers include:

  • Gov. Ned Lamont, Governor, State of Connecticut
  • Matt Fleury, Chair, Connecticut Board of Regents for Higher Education
  • Mark Ojakian, President, Connecticut State Colleges & Universities
  • Brian Mattielo, Vice-President Hartford Healthcare
  • JoAnn Ryan, Member, Board of Regents for Higher Education & NW CT Chamber of Commerce

  • James Lombella, Regional President, North-West Region

Congratulations to all of our students, on completing this most difficult of semesters.  As our Commencement Speaker, Brian Mattiello of Hartford Healthcare so eloquently describes for our graduates, these words which we hope will carry you forever forward:

  • No. 1 Find what burns in your heart and commit to it.
  • No. 2 Know that your greatest accomplishments in life will be done in partnerships with others, so value those relationships.
  • No. 3 Make sure that whatever you do, that there’s benefit for others, because the true meaning of education is not what you know, it’s sharing what you know with others.
