Northwestern Announces Participation in State-wide Small Business & Startup Seminars

Winsted, CT – The Entrepreneurial Center of Northwest CT, located at Northwestern Community college is happy to announce their participation in the Connecticut State Community College launch of state-wide small business and startup seminars. The CT State seminar program is designed to help bring education, training, and mentorship to existing businesses that are navigating post-covid challenges, and to those trying to launch new startups in Connecticut.

Seminars are scheduled to run from March to June and will cover a variety of topics, including E-Commerce, Social Media, Cyber Security, Blockchain, Financing, Cannabis, Startup Law and Startup Fundraising, and many more. Most seminars offer a virtual and an in-person experience. In-person seminars will be scheduled across the state and hosted by local colleges, co-working spaces, or the local chamber of commerce in each region. All seminars are taught by experts in their field who have a commitment to helping entrepreneurs develop their businesses and overcome their most pressing challenges.

The seminars are supported by the Werth Center for Entrepreneurship at Housatonic Community College and the Entrepreneurial Center of Northwest Connecticut, located on the Northwestern campus. Seminar attendees can pursue additional mentoring, resources, and programming needs through these centers for entrepreneurship where they will find continuous support and training.
