Northwestern Presents Small Business Seminar: Understanding Blockchain, Bitcoin, & Crypto
Winsted – The Entrepreneurial Center at Northwestern Connecticut Community College is pleased to announce the next Small Business Seminar Understanding Blockchain, Bitcoin, & Crypto will be held Tuesday, January 10th, 2023, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at The Norfolk Hub, 2 Station Place, Norfolk.
The seminar will focus on the key components that underpin blockchain systems and how they support Bitcoin, other cryptocurrencies, and products like NFTs. Attendees will learn how the original blockchain was created, how it works, how to use it to buy and sell crypto, and the historical and future implications of digital currency across the worlds of finance, data, and security.
Bill Guida, head of strategy at Robert Ventures, will teach the seminar. Guida has been involved in digital assets since 2013 and is deeply connected within the digital asset developer and investment communities. He has also volunteered as a research analyst and advisor at Holberton School of Computer Science and Southern Connecticut State University.
